To truly understand "us" we must start at the beginning...

Mr. and Mrs. McGlade once shared a dream to have a community oriented fruit stand.  They called their dream McGlades Treemendous Fruit.  Even in the early days McGlades was a spot where families came to enjoy some quality time together.  Whether it was picking pumpkins or choosing your favorite piece of fruit to take home and share, McGlades was the place to stop.  The McGlades put their fruit stand on the map with the invention of their incredible fruit pie recipe.  To this day it remains a staple in many homes and businesses in the surrounding community.

In the last couple of years McGlades has grown from a fruit stand to a Bistro style restaurant.  The owners, Executive Chef Christine Nagy and NIna Wintersteen share in the original vision for McGlades.  We want McGlades to be a place that always welcomes and that everyone looks forward to visiting. We strive to have excellent food at an affordable price and an atmosphere that you can't resist.  Our fireplace promises to keep you warm on the outside and our locally roasted coffee will heat your soul.  For the cork dorks and beer snobs, we have added an incredible selection of both local and international hops and grapes.   And for all you foodies, our menu is sure to excite your taste buds!
